RESIDELY DIRECTORY
The neighborhood directory that stays current
Your printed directory is out of date by spring, and the shared spreadsheet went stale months ago. Residely keeps a private directory of your whole community, on the web and iPhone and Android apps.

Smart Import
You already have the spreadsheet. Just paste it.
Most communities already keep a list in Excel or Google Sheets. Bring yours as it is. There's no template to download and no reformatting to do. You paste, check it over, and you're done.
- Paste any columns.
- Smart Import reads the columns and figures out which one is the address, which is the first name, and so on.
- Confirm and preview.
- You confirm the mapping, look over a preview of the first few rows, and run it.
- Streets, households, and people, in one pass.
- It builds your streets, your households, and the people in them, all at once.
- Emails matched to accounts.
- It matches email addresses to accounts, so those neighbors are already linked to their home the first time they sign in.

You can build it, or let your neighbors build it for you.
Every community runs a little differently, so there are three ways to fill the directory. Pick whichever fits, and change it later if your community does.
Self-service.
Neighbors add their own household when they join, and the directory fills itself in from the bottom up. That's the least work for you.
Claim-only.
You load the addresses ahead of time and residents claim theirs. More control, while neighbors still keep their own details current.
Managed.
You enter everyone and residents simply view. Best when you'd rather keep the directory entirely in admin hands.
Private by default
Closed to outsiders, shared on your terms.
Your community's directory is sealed off from the outside world. Only people who live there can see inside it. Within that, you decide what goes on your own card.
- Private to your community.
- Only people who live there can see inside the directory. Admins can also require approval before anyone new sees a thing.
- Your directory, your choice.
- Your phone, email, birthday, and a line or two about yourself are all optional, and they show up only if you fill them in.
- Hide your household.
- Rather not be listed? Hide your household and it disappears from the directory, with your details kept for whenever you want to come back.
- Approval before access.
- Admins can require approval before anyone new sees the directory at all.

Search & filter
One search box, however you remember them.
You don't need the full address. Type a street, a house number or a name.
- Search how you think.
- A street, a house number, a family name, or a first name.
- Browse and filter.
- Rather browse? Filter by street, by subdivision, or down to the families who moved in recently.

See who's new.
Anyone who moved in within the last year shows a “New Resident” badge, so you know whose door is worth a plate of cookies. It's a small touch, but it's the kind of thing that makes a place feel like a neighborhood and not just a list of addresses.

Residely also helps your community book shared amenities like the pool and the clubhouse, run events with RSVPs and bring-a-dish sign-up slots, and give your boards and committees a place of their own. It's one spot for who's around, what's bookable, and what's coming up.
